The Dr. Charles H. Garrett Community Center is a large meeting facility available to the public for rent.  Different events include, but are not limited to, meetings, training sessions, dinners, receptions, and other special events.

Rental Information

The original contract along with all fees and security deposits must be returned and paid before your requested date can be reserved on our calendar.  

The following fees apply:

  • Rental: $350.00
  • Pre-Event Fees: $60.00 Minimum
  • Security Deposit: $300.00 (refundable)
  • Alcohol Surcharge: $200.00 (if applicable is also refundable)

Our Maintenance Staff will clean the facilities before and after each use and a member of their team will be available during your event.

We have limited equipment available for you to use at no additional charge:

  • Commercial Kitchen with window access to the ballroom
  • P/A System (up to six microphones)
  • Lighting system (multiple colors available)
  • Projector and screen
  • CD/DVD Player
  • Podium
  • Piano

As a courtesy, our Maintenance Staff is available to set up tables and chairs for your event if you have provided us with the setup design at least two (2) days in advance.  

Things to Know:

  • The Community Center will be opened as early as 7:30 AM on the day of your event.
  • All events must end by 12:00 AM.
  • Nothing may be temporarily attached to walls or ceilings 
  • Maximum capacity 300 occupants
  • Ballroom/Meeting Room is 4,320 sq. ft (72' x 60')
  • Parking lot can accommodate 183 regular and 5 handicapped spaces
